Turning off the Start Up Screen and Animations in Excel

It’s been quite some time since I have contributed to our blog but it’s time to get back at it!  We have also been preparing to create short videos on topics related to data and Interject so check back later.

I often get questions on Microsoft Excel as we help companies with their data. Here area a few links that speak to the most common questions I hear:

How to I turn off the start up screen in Excel 2013/2016? When I upgraded to Excel 2016, this was my first step to avoid the start screen that keep getting in my way.

How to disable animations in Excel 2013/2016? In older computers or remote sessions the animations in Excel can sometimes slow you down and be distracting.  Here are two links I found helpful in removing the animations.
